days that are always great.
i'm really starting to like him.
He makes me want to do better and learn more and listen to more music. He makes me anxious in the best ways.
i hate letting my guard down. this is not good. haha.

food for though- nyc
great things happening in NYC.
we went to see animal collective twice and each time there were people there of so much importance.
It makes me wonder, sometimes wish, about life in bigger cities.
There were so many people there that we important.
one girl wrote for spin. One took paste magazine photos. there were band members of several amazing new york bands just hanging out as girls flocked to flirt and drool over.
i mean, i have to be honest, i want to be a part of all that.
As much as i love buffalo, i think this may be the first time in a long long while where i think i could live somewhere else and be happy.
Here i will continue to remind myself that i am doing everything i should be doing right now and i am making more progress than most.

my vacation so far
WOW
NYC is great. we are having a lot of fun!
we went to some really great diners here in NYC - hello deli was my favorites rumored that letterman goes there but we didnt see him.
We went to the upright citizens brigade theater where we saw two doods from snl! it was only 5 bucks and my phone went off right in the middle of their skit! hahah!!! it was such a great little dive theater. so much fun
we went to albany for a fewu days a nd seeing lynne is always great. Bombers was great. pizza there was awesome too!
our hostel is fabulous and
real close to everything!
i am off to central park now! will write more again soon! with pictures!

painting
in an effort to create creativity, i decided to paint.
I am not by any means a good painter however, i like to do it and i will never stop. its really just for me. I see something and if i want to paint it, i do. that way i dont have to buy it. and the best part is that its copied however, it only looks like my paintings...
i made a simple cityscape of buffalo with a sharpie marker but prior to that, i painted the entire canvas in purple and teal. great color combo that always catches the eye.
the marker is simple and plain and not well drawn by any means however, looking at it- it screams BUFFALOVE.
great stuff.
i made two just to have for myself.
Creativity created simplicity and simplicity created happiness and happiness makes me feel good.

apartment cleaning
I am in the middle of cleaning like 7 months of gross cameron dirt. hahah.
its nice to clean and listen to tunes with my cats for once. everything is out of the apartment, its just me.
i am looking for a chair i think.
actually, a few neat chairs. i wish i had a car, only for the reason regarding transport of the chairs needed.
other than that, no car needed.
i had such a great day yesterday.
i am looking forward to NYC in a week, seeing lynne and animal collective. AHHHHHH!

so this is the new year!
So this is the new year... im changing.
life is really all about me.
i cant stop being selfish, i never will. there is no one in this life that will help me except myself, and a few select individuals.
2008 was a great year. turning 22 was hard but i handled it. i still think 2007 was the best but we will see what 2009 brings.
2009 is the year of re organizing
Heres what i learned this year:
Break ups are funny because you realize that you CAN be happy without someone always by your side.
living with someone is overrated.
dont drive the pacific coast hwy at night, its the scariest thing ever.
san fran is overwelming.
electronic music seems complicated but its not.
nothing compares to poloroid pictures.
going to college is the best thing you can ever do for yourself.
college loans are not that bad.
attic shows are the best shows around.
cats are hard work - to take care of
deerhunter is a great band.
nothing compares to your friends.
organization is the key to happiness.
you can save the earth by not showering so much.
buffalo is still the best city i have ever been to.
when you leave california, even though you hated it when you were there - you wont hate it after you are gone.
kevin drew is a musical master.
rochester has the coolest underground abandoned subway ever.
the garbage plates are awesome.
i learned how to fix my bike up.
depend on myself for transportation - bus, bike, legs.

rooftop kisses as the fireworks go off.

im in a lazy state but restless as the hours continue to pass.

im not frustrated anymore.
im not fighting with anyone because the world is to crazy and life is to short.
im not a bad person for breaking it off with him.
im not in love but i keep my heart on my sleeve.

running for blocks to downtown in the freezing temperatures, loosing my wallet only to find it WITHOUT one thing missing, great boys, lots of kisses, great friends and good times. Cold weather and warm hearts. bowling and some weird Japaneses baby game (of course sean showed me) and helping a new friend in his new apartment.
