so this is the new year!

So this is the new year... im changing.
life is really all about me.
i cant stop being selfish, i never will. there is no one in this life that will help me except myself, and a few select individuals.
2008 was a great year. turning 22 was hard but i handled it. i still think 2007 was the best but we will see what 2009 brings.
2009 is the year of re organizing


Heres what i learned this year:

Break ups are funny because you realize that you CAN be happy without someone always by your side.
living with someone is overrated.
dont drive the pacific coast hwy at night, its the scariest thing ever.
san fran is overwelming.
electronic music seems complicated but its not.
nothing compares to poloroid pictures.
going to college is the best thing you can ever do for yourself.
college loans are not that bad.
attic shows are the best shows around.
cats are hard work - to take care of
deerhunter is a great band.
nothing compares to your friends.
organization is the key to happiness.
you can save the earth by not showering so much.
buffalo is still the best city i have ever been to.
when you leave california, even though you hated it when you were there - you wont hate it after you are gone.
kevin drew is a musical master.
rochester has the coolest underground abandoned subway ever.
the garbage plates are awesome.
i learned how to fix my bike up.
depend on myself for transportation - bus, bike, legs.
break ups are hard, but well worth it.


Probably alot more things, i just cant think of them right now.

Thanks everyone for a great year. i look forward to putting my friends first this year, re organizing my apartment and my life and appreciating the little things. i am also going to NYC and MOntreal before the year is over.
